2022 Summer Sessions
• Reading (Kinder-2nd): 8:00-8:50
• Reading (2nd-3rd Grade) : 9:00-9:50am
• Comprehension/Fluency (3rd-5th Grade): 10:00-10:50am
• Writing (4th Grade & up): 11:00-11:50am
• Math (1st-2nd Grade): Time TBD
• Math (3rd-5th Grade): Time TBD

Why should my child come to these summer lessons?
Research has shown that lengthy school vacations, such as the summer, have a negative effect on a child's learning.  Thought processes are not stimulated and learning skills are weakened, sometimes causing a child to regress in all areas of education.

​Increase your child’s math skills or boost reading and writing accuracy, rate, and fluency with the School Of Lexía highly effective Dyslexia and Reading, Writing, and Math Programs!

What Will My Child Learn?

Reading / Writing Classes cover competency and proficiency skills such as:
  • Phonemic awareness
  • Phonics instruction
  • Increasing Sight Words
  • Decoding in text
  • Fluency
  • Increasing Vocabulary
  • Comprehension
Math Classes will focus on competency and proficiency in the following areas:
  • Basic Facts
  • Fractions
  • Geometry
  • Number Sense
  • Place Value
  • Decimals (older grades only)

Summer is a time when students typically
regress in all subject matters.
School of Lexia provides small group environments
with specialized instructors
​that will facilitate progression during the summer.

How will my child acquire these skills in your summer sessions?

Your child will be learning skills through multi-sensory activities in small groups, games and centers.  As the summer progresses your child will gain more confidence in reading, writing, and math- making learning fun!
